Robert N. Lyman Associate Practice Rob practices all forms of intellectual property law, including prosecution, counseling, and litigation. Professional Rob was admitted to practice in the state of Washington in 2006 and the state of Oregon in 2008. He served as a law clerk to Hon. Norman K. Moon, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, from 2006 to 2007. Education Rob earned a B.A. with highest honors in physics from Williams College in 1999 and an M.S. in physics from the University of Washington in 2002. In 2006 he received a J.D. from the University of Virginia, where he served on the editorial board of the Virginia Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Personal Rob’s hobbies formerly included hunting, language study, and international travel.
