Represented Tillamook Country Smoker in trademark declaratory judgment action which was resolved in favor of Tillamook Country Smoker on summary judgment.
Michaels of Oregon v. Clean Gun, Inc., et al.
Represented Michaels of Oregon in patent infringement lawsuit. A preliminary injunction was entered during the pendency of the lawsuit. Case settled in Michaels of Oregon's favor just days before trial.
Soloflex, Inc. v. NordicTrack, Inc.
Represented Soloflex in trademark and copyright lawsuit involving complex issues regarding the look and feel of advertising and exercise physiology. Case was settled in Soloflex's favor just prior to trial.

Kudlacek v. The Browning Companies
Represented plaintiff in a patent infringement lawsuit involving the innovative eccentric cam archery bow. The case was tried to a jury that returned a verdict in plaintiff's favor. Following the litigation, the patent was licensed industry wide.
Semitool v. Applied Materials
Represented Applied Materials in patent infringement lawsuit relating to seed layer repair of semiconductor wafers. Case settled nine days into jury trial.
Digimarc Corporation v. Signum Technologies, Inc.
Represented Signum Technologies in patent infringement lawsuit involving digital watermarking.
Thrall Car Manufacturing Company v. Gunderson, Inc.
Represented defendant in patent infringement involving center beam rail car technology. The case was tried to a jury that returned a verdict in favor of defendant finding the patent invalid.
General Mills, Inc. v. International Yogurt, Inc.
Represented defendant in trademark infringement lawsuit. Case was tried to a jury that returned a verdict in favor of defendant on the grounds that General Mills had abandoned the asserted trademark.
Tigard Sports Surfaces v. Syntennico, Inc.
Represented Tigard Sports Surfaces in two lawsuits involving trademarks, copyrights, and breach of contract relating to "Fieldturf" artificial sports surface, now installed in professional college and high school sports arenas across the United States and throughout Europe. Oregon case was tried to a jury which returned a verdict favorable to Tigard Sports Surfaces. The California case settled in favor of Tigard Sports Surfaces.
Tekmax v. Exide Corp.
Represented plaintiff in a patent infringement lawsuit involving battery wrapping machines that revolutionized the industry. Jury verdict was rendered in Tekmax's favor awarding $5 million in damages and a permanent injunction.
Music Millennium v. Millennium Music
Represented defendant in a case of first impression relating to personal jurisdiction over the internet. Case was dismissed for lack of personal jurisdiction.

Represented defendant in patent infringement lawsuit that was settled with a license agreement and royalty rate favorable for defendant.
