Please join the Intellectual Property Section on Friday, February 5 from 9 am – 1:30 pm at the Oregon State Bar Center for our annual Intellectual Property Review CLE.
We have Susan Pitchford and Amelia Forsberg from Chernoff Vilhauer presenting on patents, Anna McCoy from Alleman Hall McCoy presenting on trademarks, and we're pleased to share that we have two colleagues from Seattle coming down to speak as well: Mark Wittow from K&L Gates will present on copyright law, and Professor Steve Tapia from Seattle University School of Law will be our keynote speaker.
Professor Tapia has practiced entertainment, media and intellectual property law for over 30 years. He has worked with such companies as DIRECTTV Sports Networks, Microsoft, and HBO. He will speak on his experiences practicing IP law over the past few decades, and what he sees as trends and challenges in the practice going forward.
