Kevin joined Chernoff Vilhauer in 1993. Over the course of 25 years, Kevin’ practice has encompassed a broad range of intellectual property matters, including patent prosecution, patent litigation, patent, trademark and copyright opinions, intellectual property counseling, intellectual property licensing, technology licensing negotiations, business software licensing, trademark prosecution, trademark litigation, copyright litigation, trade secret litigation, and arbitration of intellectual property matters.
Kevin has counseled many companies with respect to intellectual property matters and guided multiple companies to acquisition of substantial patent and trademark portfolios. Kevin has also provided for substantial companies mergers and acquisitions of for due diligence for intellectual properties related matters.
From 1994 to 1996 Kevin served on the Oregon State Bar Executive Committee, Patent and Trademark Section. He is a member of the Multnomah Bar Associates, Oregon Patent Law Association, Computer Law Association, American Bar Associates, and the Federal Circuit Bar Association.
Kevin has been recognized by the Best Lawyers in America since 2014.
He is the Author of Federal Circuit Patent Case Digest, published semi-annually by Thompson West.
